CLASSROOM RULES:
1. Be on time.
2. Be prepared. (Bring all materials to class.)
3. Be polite.
4. Be attentive. (Listen to all instructions.)
GRADING POLICY:
75 % Daily work
25% Tests
(Projects and Six Weeks Tests are included in the test sections.)
LATE ASSIGNMENTS:
If an assignment is turned in the day after it is due, the highest grade a student can make is 70. Any assignment turned in two or more days late will receive a grade of 50.
WARNING: Zeroes will significantly affect your daily work average, and can lead to failure. I will take late work until the Friday of the 5th week of the six weeks grading period.
TEST RETAKES:
1. Retakes will be given by appointment only.
2. All retakes will be completed by 3:30 on the Friday
before the six weeks tests begin.
All appointments will be the student's responsibility to set up.
PROGRESS REPORTS:
I send every student a progress report home at 3 weeks. Any student with a grade of 74 or below will receive a progress report on Monday of the 5th week of the grading period. This progress report should be signed and returned.
CLASS EXPECTATIONS:
1. Be seated in your desk when the bell rings
2. A heading will be required on each assignment:
Name
Class name --period number
Date
3. When you are absent you are responsible for finding out
the assignment you missed.
4. Assignments must be made up within three days of returning to school.
5. Tests must be made up before or after school by appointment. Tests must be taken within one week of the absence.
6. Oral participation is a requirement of this class.
7. The student is expected to follow the school rules.
