Cisco FFA |
My name is Ginger Holton. I teach a variety of classes at Cisco High School. They include plant and animal sciences, wildlife management,Introdution to Agriculture and horticulture classes. I am also one of the FFA advisors for the Cisco FFA Chapter. We are looking forward to a great year here at Cisco High School. We will be participating in many events and activities which include stock shows, career development events and leadership development events. We have completed our greenhouse and will be producing vegetables, herbs, flowes, grasses and other ornamental plants throughout the year. The chapter officers as well as other FFA members are working toward receiving a National Chapter Rating award. The FFA officers are planning many exciting projects and activities for the chapter to be involved in. Look for upcomine events and information on the calendar. | | |

Grading Policies |
Grading System:
• Daily Assignments – 40%
• Test Grades – 60%
Grades:
• Daily assignments include all homework assignments, and participation grades
• Test grades include all unit tests, six weeks tests, notebook grades*, and record book grades*
• Notebooks – each student is required to keep a notebook. I will specify what will be in each notebook. They will be graded twice each six weeks.
• Record books – each ag student will be required to keep a record book. They will be updated and graded at the end of each six weeks.
Extra Credit:
• Pay FFA Dues – 5 points (added to six weeks grade)
• Work at Ag Farm – 2 points
• Attend FFA Meetings -2 points
• Participate in Fundraiser – 2 points
• Participate on a Leadership Development Team – 2 points
• Participate on a Career Development Team – 2 points

What's Up in the Cisco FFA Chapter |
We are currently growing vegetables,herbs, and fall flowers in our greenhouse. Check the paper or the caledar for dates of plant sales. We will begin looking for show projects. If you or someone you know wants to show, please contact the ag department. | | |
