These classes will be reviewing all the grammar rules they've learned since beginning school in order to apply them to writing exercises. They will have weekly spelling tests receiving word lists on Monday; tests on Fridays. Your children will be learning 3 poems in a six weeks grading period.
Something new this year will be that each child will need a pocket folder in which they will have a weekly chart with each days assignment on it. This will be sent home on Fridays and signed by parents and returned on Monday. Doing this will give the parents and guardians an accurate idea of what their children are doing. It will also give the children responsibility of keeping up with their work.

We have only a few, but none the less very important rules.
1. We will show respect to all teachers, peers, and ourselves.
2. We will all do our very best work and not worry about what our classmates do.
3. We will always be prepared for class with pencils, pens, and paper.
